In the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to spend five weeks interning with the creative department at United Way of Northern New Jersey.

United Way is part of a global network of community-based nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing the common good. They work to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities to address critical issues such as education, financial stability, and health. Local branches, like the United Way of Northern New Jersey, focus on specific community needs, including supporting “ALICE” (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families who struggle to afford basic necessities.

During my internship, I designed a variety of projects, collaborated with other creatives, and engaged with clients. This experience allowed me to develop invaluable skills for success in the creative field. I significantly improved my abilities in communication, collaboration, and Adobe software, gaining hands-on experience that will benefit me throughout my career.
